Future Innovators in Action: IdeaPOP! 2026 Winning Teams Explore Creativity at I-School
Innovation doesn’t stop at the competition stage! Yesterday, I-School was excited to welcome several winning and outstanding teams from IdeaPOP! 2026 for an inspiring post-event workshop filled with creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
The students took on the classic Marshmallow Challenge, putting their teamwork, communication, and rapid prototyping skills to the test. They also participated in an interactive ideation exercise in which they explored creative problem-solving techniques and learned how to turn bold ideas into meaningful solutions. The workshop encouraged participants to think beyond conventional boundaries, embrace experimentation, and experience the dynamic process of innovation firsthand.
IdeaPOP! is a startup pitching competition designed for Hong Kong secondary school students, empowering young people to step outside the classroom and discover the exciting world of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development. Through mentorship, teamwork, and real-world challenges, the programme inspires the next generation of changemakers to transform their ideas into impact.
Adding to the excitement, Prof. Hayden So from the I-School served as one of the judges for IdeaPOP! 2026 competition, supporting and encouraging participants throughout their entrepreneurial journey. It was a pleasure to welcome these talented young innovators to I-School and continue inspiring them beyond the competition.
At I-School, we are committed to nurturing future innovators by creating opportunities for experiential learning, creative exploration, and entrepreneurial thinking. We look forward to seeing these bright young minds continue to grow, innovate, and shape a better future.
Congratulations once again to all the winning and outstanding teams of IdeaPOP! 2026! We can’t wait to see where your innovative ideas take you next.
