HKU Innovation Week returns on 14 October 2026, bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders and innovators to explore how new ideas and technologies can create real-world impact.

This year’s theme, “The Innovation Reef: Where Ideas Breed and Thrive,” celebrates the vibrant ecosystem of innovation at HKU — where ideas come together, grow and connect with the wider community.

For I-School, Innovation Week is also an opportunity to showcase how we bring innovation, technology and entrepreneurship together — from education and research to real-world ventures.

Also featured at Innovation Week is Elevatefoods, a venture led by I-School’s Prof. Connie Lee, dedicated to transforming personalised clinical nutrition for healthy ageing.
