HKU School of Innovation Inaugural Celebration: A Dialogue with Future Innovators

On 9 May 2026, the I-School at The University of Hong Kong proudly celebrated its Inauguration Ceremony at the iconic Rayson Huang Theatre, marking an exciting new chapter in innovation and technology education. The event brought together distinguished guests, university leaders, industry partners, faculty members, students, and supporters to witness the official launch of a vibrant new hub for future innovators and changemakers.

Filled with energy, inspiration, and a shared vision for the future, the ceremony showcased I-School’s commitment to interdisciplinary learning, creativity, entrepreneurship, and real-world impact. Esteemed speakers highlighted the growing importance of innovation and technology in shaping tomorrow’s world, while students shared their aspirations and passion for driving positive change through knowledge and collaboration.

The celebration concluded with lively exchanges and project showcases, reflecting the dynamic spirit of the I-School community and its mission to empower the next generation of leaders to innovate boldly and create meaningful impact for society and beyond.
